Japanese garden landscaping consists of three basic design ideas. These design ideas are tea gardens, hill and pond gardens and flat gardens and all can be designed to work around your garden sheds. Gardens like these can also be made with sand and rocks, very similar to the next basic design concept for a Japanese garden, where the sand or gravel represents water and the rocks represent a hill or a mountain. Flat Garden

The flat garden is also known as a Zen garden or in Japanese, Hiraniwa. In almost all cases of a flat garden, it is done as a rock garden. Most gardens of this nature do not use plants but there are some that do but they all tend to have garden sheds.

As with most metal siding, corrugated metal siding is treated or galvanized in order to protect it from the elements and the corrosion and oxidation that can occur.Usually it is coated with a zinc oxide, but there are other metals that are sometimes used as well.Corrugated metal siding is light and easy to maneuver like other types of metal siding and connects tightly together to protect the structure from the elements.

• 2 egg yolks
• 2 tbsp. sugar
• 3 drops of vanilla extract
• 1 cup marscapone cheese

• 2 tsp. sugar
• 12 ladyfingers

Cinnamon/Sugar Mix:

• 4 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon

 Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Beat egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Add vanilla extract. Fold in cheese until mixture is smooth and velvety. Bring water to a boil. Pour over Chai tea in a small bowl. Steep tea for 2 to 3 minutes. Let it cool. Add spiced rum and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Spread butter on the bottom and the sides of the bowl. Add cinnamon, sugar mixture on top of the butter. Carefully dip ladyfingers in Chai tea. Place on the bottom of a clear bowl or dish. Add 1/3 of cheese mixture. Sprinkle sugar/cinnamon mixture. Continue with layering until all the cheese mixture is used. Sprinkle rest of cinnamon/sugar mixture on top. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving. Divide into 8 servings.

Tea Express is a bedside appliance which combines the functions of an alarm clock and a teamaker to wake you up in the morning with a hot cup of tea.
The basic operation of Tea Express is a sealed kettle with a tube passing from the bottom of the kettle out into the tea pot. As the water heats nothing much happens. The water will expand but that will be taken up by the air in the kettle. However, when the kettle of Tea Express boils the water is converted to steam which generates an enormous pressure (like a steam train!) and forces the water out and into the pot. It is quite violent so the tea gets a good stir!
There are two cut-out switches in the Tea Express. One ensures that the pot is present so that you can’t boil water out into the open. The other is a thermostat bolted with good thermal contact to the actual element. The thermostat in Tea Express works by having a fixed contact and a sprung contact made of a bi-metallic material. As the element heats up the bi-metallic contact strip gradually bends away from the fixed contact until at a certain temperature it opens the circuit - generally slightly above boiling point! - and cuts off the kettle.
There are two different metals that make up the bi-metallic element. Thin strips of the two metals are bonded together - like a thin strip of plywood. Each metal in Tea Express has a different coefficient of expansion, so as the combination heats up, one of the strips will expand more than the other and the combined strip will bend. A suitable contact is welded to this strip in such a way as to either MAKE when the desired temperature is reached (ie an alarm) or to BREAK when the temperature is reached (ie a cut-out, as in our kettle).

- - How does it work - -

You need to lift the cover on the top of the teasmade and remove the filler cap. Empty cold fresh water from the teapot supplied and replace the cap and lid. It is recommended that you use the teapot supplied for filling the system as because of its size you cannot over fill it. Then place the teapot into position directly below the fill hole.

You can choose express tea making by depressing button 3 which will illuminate to confirm. The water will be boiling after approximately 34 minutes and is then realeased into the tea pot to allow to pour into a cup.

For automatic tea making you follow the above but set the alarm time which will show as a black dot on the clock face and then press in button 4 which will illuminate to confirm. This ensures that the boiling water will fill the teapot immediately prior to the alarm sounding. Waking up for work in the mornings has never been easier and can effectively save you 5 minutes a day every day – that means you can sleep for an extra 5 minutes each day. You are able to set the alarm for the tea function to begin but you can also use it as an instant tea maker at any other time in the day.
